2020 Vision
Since its beginning, the pandemic has insinuated itself into every corner of our lives. Working from my home studio, I noticed the way the passage of time seemed contorted, changed, and off-kilter, even while the indications of spring and summer went on outside. The native birds I see on a regular basis became like touchstones as the impacted goings on of human life and activity stumbled forward. In this series, I’ve combined collagraph with watercolor and gum arabic transfer to record impressions from these strange times.
